More Free or Inexpensive Online Yoga Classes

I’m still in the process of going through my trial period of online yoga classes just to see what a home practice would be like if I needed to resort to one.  My review will be posted the last week of May.  In the meantime, I came across this link that has more resources for free or cheap yoga sessions online in the event you wanted to explore some options on your own.  Happy Friday!

  1. Have you checked out the many clubs that are taking their classes virtual so they are in studio or online…Fresh Yoga in New Haven? Yoga Spa in Westchester NY? Sage Hills in Utah? Yoga Vida in the big apple. You dont need to settle for staged 15 minute posed videos, but you can have a full class updated every day.

    • Thanks for the extra resources – I will definitely look into these! I’m out in California and YogisAnonymous in Santa Monica also streams free classes during the week but you have be available during the scheduled streaming time.

      Thanks for reading!

  2. North Shore Yoga in Chicago has joined the growing number of studios offering their classes live online for a reasonable fee. Classes are live streamed and on-demand, and you get a full class with real, unscripted, instruction. Great teachers, a wide variety of classes, and a constantly updating library.

    • Thanks for the tip! I will look into this and I’m thinking I might do a post that features studios around the country doing this so if you have any more suggestions, that would be great. Thanks for reading!

  3. Very cool- I also use StudioLiveTV- it’s like having a private, at-home class. They’ve partnered with Sage Hills Healing Center recently, so I can stream some of the best Kundalini classes in the US, especially because I don’t have much access to that type of yoga where I’m from. Here’s so more info, for anyone who wants some amazing Kundalini yoga without having to venture outside of your own backyard!

  4. wonderful piece of information, I had come to know about your blog from my friend Nandini , Hyderabad,
I have read at least 7 posts of yours by now, and let me tell you, your website gives the best and the most interesting information. This is just the kind of information that I had been looking for, I’m already your RSS reader now and I would regularly watch out for the new posts,
once again hats off to you! Thanks a ton once again.

  5. StudioLiveTV is a great online yoga resource- my home club, YogaSpa, in Westchester, NY, offers classes via StudioLiveTV, which is perfect for me and my busy schedule. I can take my favorite hot yoga class whenever, wherever.

Here’s the link for anyone who wants more info:

    • Hi Apogee, I definitely agree with you! I love everything about attending an actual class, especially if you are newer so you can have the instructor’s eyes on you. But the per class fee can be pretty pricey – I’m limited to an at home practice at the moment, which is not only cheaper but fits with my schedule since I can take class whenever I want!

      • Hi brokeassyogi yeah you were right mate .price and the time very important to.And as said by you right now you at home practice is good to do at home, because at the end of day all wanna be fit and healthy.hop-e to stay in touch with you through your thoughts and comments.Cheer girl .
